Chapter Eight Teaser

1/26/23: I must admit, I've been slacking on the Impala front.  Since I didn't make enough progress to warrant a new blog post, I figured I'd do a short update post before I return back to the madness for another semester.  Progress is still trending in the right direction.  While I didn't get the speedometer cable reinstalled, I did get the new turn signal switch in and made a bigger step forward: I ordered new floor pans.  I also paid the sales tax on my car.  Let's not talk about how Rhode Island does the sales tax on classic cars, or this post will devolve into a fierce rant about the state and the government and how much they want to take my money.  Anyways, my car has now been appraised and I'm waiting on my $1,004 refund check in the mail from the RI division of taxation.  I'll be lucky if it gets here before I'm home in March.  Anyways, that's all for today.  But I can't officially sign off without providing at least one photographic update of the (formerly) blue barge.

My "two story" Impala with floor pans on the roof.  Hahaha, nobody gets my bad joke and it isn't even funny.
