Winter 2023-24

David: What a year that was! As we move forward into 2024, I think it would be appropriate to reflect on the previous year, and what it brought to Old New England Cars. While there lots of obstacles in the road, so to speak, there were also plenty of amazing opportunities. At the start of 2023, we launched our presence on social media, and while we started off slowly, we are gaining a name for ourselves among the online car spotting community, as we've taken notice by several larger car spotting organizations locally and across the world! This also gave us the chance to connect with others, learn more about cars, and form friendships and bonds all along the way.

On a personal note, 2023 brought us the chances to travel more, with cars being spotted in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maine. Of course, the photo and writing quality improved along with that. We launched a new series, known as the Car Narratives, and got a few people to tell the stories of their prized vehicles, most of which being old Volvos! Of course, what more could be said about the shear amount of cars we spotted this year too! I think Sam and I found more cars than any other year combined, and I can only imagine what we'll find in 2024. Last but not least, 2023 brought some life to Sam's Impala, and a short lived relationship with David and a Volvo 240.

2023 was quite a year. We're thankful for all the opportunities, cars, and experiences we had this year. It's quite amazing to see how far ONEC has come over the years, as I, as well as Sam, had no idea the boundaries we could reach just by putting ourselves out there. We're optimistic rounding the new year, and for good reason. From Sam and I, we wish everyone the best going into the new year, and maybe we'll see you along the way. Happy New Year, and Happy Car Spotting everyone!
